friends, after many years i am back to blogging.

Let me talk about the relationship between chakras and astrology.

As we all know there are 7 important chakras, each associated with a hormonal gland in our body. Each chakra is related to a graha or a planet.

Sun-Sahasrara
Jupiter-Agna
Saturn-Visuddhi
Moon-Anahata
Mars- Manipura
Venus-Swadisthana
Mercury- Mooladhara

Each chakra represents some basic aspects of our existence.
For example mooladhara represents need for security, home, food. All these are represented by Mercury.
